Veneer whitening: what you need to know
Discover our specialized approach to maintaining the beauty of your veneers. This guide explains how we enhance their shine and remove surface buildup without altering their structure. Understand the benefits and what to expect from our unique service.

Our unique approach to veneer care
At Polished Purls.co, we offer an add-on service specifically designed to maintain the appearance of your veneers. Our method focuses on removing surface buildup and enhancing shine without performing dental procedures or altering the veneer structure. This ensures your veneers look their best while preserving their integrity.

What our service includes (and excludes)
Our legally safe service includes gentle cleansing of teeth and veneers using non-abrasive, cosmetic-grade products. We focus on removing surface debris and external stains from coffee, tea, and smoke residue. You'll also receive hydration and shine enhancement for a cosmetic finish, along with personalized aftercare education for veneer longevity.
Please note, this service does not include mechanical polishing with dental tools, enamel or veneer alteration, or actual whitening of veneers (as they do not change color). We also do not remove stains beneath the veneer surface.

Is this service right for you?
Our veneer care service is ideal for clients with porcelain or composite veneers, especially those who frequently consume coffee, wine, or smoke. It's also perfect for anyone wanting to maintain their veneers' brightness and appearance between regular dental visits. This cosmetic maintenance helps keep your smile looking polished and radiant.
However, it is important to disclose that this is a cosmetic maintenance service only. It does not replace dental cleanings or exams and does not treat oral health conditions. Clients needing deep stain removal or polishing will be referred to a licensed dental professional.
Aftercare reminder: keep your smile bright
Remember, veneers do not whiten. To maintain their enhanced appearance, avoid staining foods and drinks for 24–48 hours after your session. Regular dental cleanings are essential for overall oral health and deep polishing that goes beyond cosmetic maintenance. For more tips, check our Teeth Whitening Aftercare Guide.
